Ouch! Can't believe I wasn't home! Been there ... done that, and it's not fun. My anxiety was spiking just reading the blog as memories came flooding back of Amanda with a fever of 105 and the on call doc telling me to just give her some tylenol. Excuse me??? I can assure you she was in the coldest bath of her life before you could say ... well fill in the blanks. You know how I am when upset!

Glad all's getting better! He's in very capable hands!!!

From the unreachable mother of 5!

Great tribute! Joyce was a great neighbor and fun parent. I have some nice memories of Joyce while growing up on Irene/Lynne Court. My thoughts and prayers are with Ed, David, Catherine and Chris always.

Dear Natalie,

That is one beautiful and eloquently written tribute to Joyce. She and I went through grammar school and later business school together. As things often happen, we go our own way in life and lose contact with people. Joyce and I reconnected thanks to Facebook and I really enjoyed catching up with her again. Thank you for enlightening me further on the fantastic person Joyce became as her life progressed beyond school.

WHat a beautiful blog about a wonderful and beautiful woman, joyce. Ive known her since I was 18 years old ( im in my 40's now). Her contagious laugh, the sparkle in her eyes, her infectious smile, will surely be missed. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Knowing Joyce, she would have read that and her eyes would have swelled up with tears, tears of joy . Joyce was very sensitive to other people's lives, the stories they had and the moments they would share with her. I used to always say to her, "now now, dont start crying!" She would say, "but im happy!" She will surely be missed.

What a beautiful tribute to Joyce! It was wonderful to read and brought back so many great memories. I had the pleasure and privilege to work with Joyce at EMC for over six years. My daughter was also part of Joyce's baby wall. I have shoes that I wear and refer to them as "my Joycie shoes" because they are little backless sandals that make clickity sounds when you walk. They remind me of Joyce. I am so saddened by the news of Joyce's passing. She touched the hearts of many souls in her lifetime. Thank you for sharing your kind words and stories.

Sincerely,

Christine Meyers

I really enjoyed reading this post!! You are so witty and sarcastic!! I enjoy you humor.

I can't beleive I stuck with that whole post as it was long, but I can't beleive the knowledge you have on the computer.

And yes, what it would be like to be twenty again. I would give up the computer to be twenty again.
